ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive JFK Collector’s Edition clip from the upcoming four-disc box set of the iconic 1991 thriller.
The Collector’s Edition release includes the Academy Award-winning movie as well as a plethora of new bonus features. The new box set will release on Tuesday, December 19.
“Oliver Stone‘s Academy Award-winning film about the shots heard round the world and the mystery that still surrounds them is one of the most provocative movies of all time,” reads the video’s description. “In addition to its box office success, soaring critical acclaim, and awards, it played a major role in the national debate that led to the passage of the 1992 Assassination Materials Disclosure Act.”

JFK was originally released on December 20, 1991. It was directed by Oliver Stone and written by Stone and Zachary Sklar. The film starred Kevin Costner, Kevin Bacon, Tommy Lee Jones, Laurie Metcalf, Gary Oldman, Michael Rooker, Jay O. Sanders, and Sissy Spacek.
JFK was nominated for eight Academy Awards was won two — Robert Richardson for Best Cinematography and Joe Hutshing and Pietro Scalia for Best Film Editing.
