Sony Pictures has released the Anyone But You trailer for its newest romantic comedy, starring Top Gun: Maverick breakout Glen Powell and Emmy nominee Sydney Sweeney.
The video highlights the fake relationship between Powell’s Ben and Sweeney’s Bea. Despite hating each other, they decided to pretend that they’re dating while attending Bea’s sister’s wedding in Australia, where both of their exes are also in attendance. The film will arrive in theaters on December 22.

Who’s in Anyone But You?
Anyone But You is directed by Will Gluck from a screenplay he co-wrote with Ilana Wolpert. The filmmaker is best known for his directorial work on romantic comedies Easy A and Friends with Benefits, as well as Peter Rabbit movies. Joining Sweeney and Powell are Alexandra Shipp, GaTa, Dermot Mulroney, Rachel Griffiths, Michelle Hurd, Bryan Brown, Darren Barnet and Hadley Robinson.
“In the film, Bea and Ben look like the perfect couple, but after an amazing first date something happens that turns their fiery hot attraction ice cold – until they find themselves unexpectedly thrust together at a destination wedding in Australia,” reads the synopsis. “So they do what any two mature adults would do: pretend to be a couple.”
The project is executive produced by Sweeney, Natalie Sellers, Alyssa Altman, and Jacqueline Monetta, with Gluck, Joe Roth, and Jeff Kirschenbaum as producers.
