20th Century Studios has dropped a Quiz Lady clip for its newest R-rated comedy starring Golden Globe winners Sandra Oh and Awkwafina. The film will be available for streaming on November 3, exclusively on Hulu.
The video features Oh’s Jenny discovering that her sister Awkwafina’s Anne has a hidden talent after Anne repeatedly gives the correct answers to the quiz show they’re watching. Jenny wonders why she doesn’t want to join when she clearly has a chance of winning the game show. However, Anne dismisses her sister’s suggestion due to her insecurities about people giving her attention.

What to expect in Quiz Lady?
“In the original film, a brilliant but tightly wound, gameshow-obsessed young woman, Anne, and her estranged, train-wreck of a sister Jenny, must work together to help cover their mother’s gambling debts,” reads the synopsis. “When Anne’s beloved dog is kidnapped, they set out on a wild, cross-country trek to get the cash the only way they know how: by turning Anne into a bona-fide gameshow champion.”
Described as a hilarious and heartfelt comedy, Quiz Lady is directed by Jessica Yu from a screenplay written by Jen D’Angelo. Joining Awkwafina and Oh are Jason Schwartzman, Holland Taylor, Tony Hale, and Will Ferrell, with the latter also serving as a producer.
In addition to starring, the Killing Eve vet and the Shang-Chi star is also producing the movie along with D’Angelo, Jessica Elbaum, Maggie Haskins, and Itay Reiss. Executive producers are Alex Brown and Erika Hampson.
