The first red band trailer for David Ayer’s The Beekeeper teases a bloody revenge thriller starring Jason Statham.
MGM has released the first red band trailer for The Beekeeper, a new action flick arriving in theaters in January 2024. The footage sees Statham seek vengeance against a powerful company that scams people out of their money.

Who else stars in The Beekeeper?
Along with Statham, The Beekeeper stars stars Emmy Raver-Lampman, Josh Hutcherson, Bobby Naderi, Minnie Driver, Phylicia Rashad, and Jeremy Irons.
“In The Beekeeper, one man’s brutal campaign for vengeance takes on national stakes after he is revealed to be a former operative of a powerful and clandestine organization known as Beekeepers,” the official synopsis reads.
The Beekeeper marks Ayer’s first directorial effort since 2020’s The Tax Collector. He’s also known for directing 2012’s End of Watch, 2014’s Sabotage, 2014’s Fury, 2016’s Suicide Squad, and 2017’s Bright.
With a script by Kurt Wimmer (Expend4bles, Salt), The Beekeeper is produced by Statham, Ayer, Bill Block, Chris Long, and Wimmer. Andrew Golov, Thom Zadra, and Mark Birmingham serve as executive producers.
The Beekeeper comes after a busy 2023 for Statham, as the Transporter actor has starred in a number of films released in the past year. He played a major role in Guy Ritchie’s Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre, which came out in March in the United States, before he then reprised his role as Deckard Shaw in Fast X. Following that, Statham starred in Meg 2: The Trench, a sequel to 2018’s The Meg that was directed by Ben Wheatley. He also returned to the character of Lee Christmas in Expend4bles, which is still playing in theaters.
The Beekeeper arrives in theaters on January 12, 2024, from MGM.
