ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive Project Home: 3D Printing the Future clip for the documentary from award-winning filmmaker Laura Waters Hinson. The film was released this week by 1091 Pictures.
What is Project Home: 3D Printing the Future about?
“Project Home: 3D Printing the Future follows the innovators at New Story, Icon, and Habitat for Humanity, who are developing communities and building houses using 3D printing technology,” reads the film’s synopsis. “The film documents the stories of two single working mothers who can buy their first homes thanks to this innovative technology. One lives in an impoverished village in Mexico where New Story and Icon are building a community of 3D-printed houses, and the other lives in Virginia, where Habitat for Humanity is sponsoring her new home.”
