A new Rare Objects trailer and poster have been revealed, previewing the upcoming film that was co-written, directed, and produced by star Katie Holmes. The movie is set to premiere in theaters and through video-on-demand on April 14.
“An adaptation of Kathleen Tessaro’s novel of the same name, Rare Objects is a story about friendship that centers around a young woman who reclaims her own sense of self through her journey of self discovery that involves a new job, new friends and healing,” reads the film’s synopsis.

Rare Objects was written by Katie Holmes and Phaedon A. Papadopoulos and directed by Holmes. It stars Holmes, Julia Mayorga, Derek Luke, Alan Cumming, and David Alexander Flinn.
