Ahead of its debut tomorrow, A24 and Apple Studios have released a brand new Causeway trailer for the upcoming psychological drama starring Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence and Emmy nominee Brian Tyree Henry. The film will be arriving in select theaters and on Apple TV+ on November 4.

The video highlights the unexpected bond that will form between two broken strangers as they try to heal each other from the pain of their traumatic past through their friendship.
Causeway is directed by Lila Neugebauer from a screenplay written by Ottessa Moshfegh, Luke Goebel, and Elizabeth Sanders. Joining Lawrence and Henry are Linda Emond, Jayne Houdyshell, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Russell Harvard, Fred Weller, Neal Huff, and more.
“The film follows Lynsey, a soldier struggling to adjust back home in New Orleans following a traumatic injury,” reads the synopsis. “When she meets local mechanic James, the pair begin to forge an unexpected bond.”

Causeway is produced by Lawrence and Justine Ciarrocchi. The film had its world premiere at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival.
