Netflix has dropped the official Tall Girl 2 trailer for the upcoming sequel to 2019’s teen romantic comedy film starring Ava Michelle and Sabrina Carpenter. It will make its debut on Friday, February 11.
The Tall Girl 2 trailer, which you can check out below along with the key art, highlights Jodi’s newfound confidence and popularity. However, despite having the support of her boyfriend, friends, and family and finally landing the lead role in the school’s musical, her worst enemy in the second installment will be the voice inside her head making her believe in her fears and insecurities.

Tall Girl 2 will be led by Ava Michelle (Dance Moms), Griffin Gluck (Locke & Key), Sabrina Carpenter (The Hate U Give), Anjelika Washington (DC’s Stargirl), Jan Luis Castellanos (Marvel’s The Runaways), Angela Kinsey (The Office), and Steve Zahn (The White Lotus). Joining them are Luke Eisner, Clara Wilsey, Rico Paris, Johanna Liauw, and Chris Wylde.
“After her inspiring speech at the homecoming dance, Jodi is no longer just the “tall girl” – she’s popular, confident, has a boyfriend, and just booked the lead role in this year’s school musical,” reads the synopsis. “But as the pressure of her newfound popularity intensifies, so do her insecurities, and new relationships are formed while old ones are tested. As the world she built starts to crumble around her, Jodi realizes that standing tall was only just the beginning.”

Tall Girl 2 is directed by Emily Ting from a screenplay written by Sam Wolfson. It is produced by McG, Mary Viola, and Corey Marsh.
