Lionsgate has released the first trailer for its upcoming action film Pursuit, which is set to star acting greats Emile Hirsch and John Cusack.

The trailer for the film showcases the two actors, who will cross paths in the film about a cop looking to hunt down a criminal after a kidnapping takes place. Alongside Cusack and Hirsch, Pursuit also stars Jake Manley and Elizabeth Ludlow. You can check out the trailer for Pursuit below:
“John Cusack (Grosse Pointe Blank) and Emile Hirsch (Into the Wild) star in this action thriller about a tough cop’s hunt for an even tougher criminal,” reads the official synopsis for the film “Detective Breslin crosses paths with Calloway (Hirsch), a ruthless hacker desperate to find his wife, who has been kidnapped by a drug cartel. When Calloway escapes police custody, Breslin joins forces with a no-nonsense female cop to reclaim his prisoner. But is Calloway’s crime-boss father (Cusack) somehow involved in this explosive situation?”

Pursuit will be released on February 18, 2022, and will be available both in select theaters around the nation as well as on-demand.
