IFC Films has dropped the official Clean trailer for the upcoming revenge thriller film starring Oscar winner Adrien Brody. The film is scheduled to arrive in theaters and on VOD on January 28, 2022.
The video, which you can check out below, features Brody as a garbage collector who has a dark and violent past. As he tries to move on with his life, he suddenly becomes a target of a local crime boss after saving a young girl from some of the gang’s members and ruthlessly killing them.

Clean is directed by Paul Solet from a screenplay he co-wrote with Brody, who also composed the score. This marks Brody and Solet’s latest collaboration after working together in the crime thriller Bullet Head.
“Clean, a man with a violent and criminal past, seeks, redemption after being awakened by a personal tragedy,” reads the synopsis. “He dedicates his life to his broken community and the safety of a young girl who reminds him of his daughter. When her life is put in danger, it ignites, a return to the darkness and violence he’s worked so hard to leave behind. In his attempts to save her, he might very well save himself. ”
Joining Brody are Glenn Fleshler, Michelle Wilson, Richie Merritt, Chandler Ari DuPont, Mykelti Williamson, John Bianco, and RZA.

Clean is produced by Brody, Solet, Daniel Sollinger, and Elliot Brody, with Jordan Jacques-Aboutboul as a co-producer. The film is developed through Brody’s production company Fable House.
