RLJE Films has dropped the official Silent Night trailer for the forthcoming dark comedy film, featuring an all-star ensemble cast led by Oscar nominee Keira Knightley. The film is scheduled to make its debut in theaters and on AMC+ on December 3.
The video features a group of friends and their kids as they decided to spend their last day on Earth celebrating Christmas together. However, despite their happy reunion, they’ll still struggle with the anxiety of waiting for doomsday and their inevitable deaths including explaining the situation to their children.

Silent Night stars Keira Knightley (Imitation Game), Matthew Goode (Downton Abbey), Roman Griffin Davis (Jojo Rabbit), Annabelle Wallis (Malignant), Lily-Rose Depp (The King), Ṣọpé Dìrísù (His House), Kirby Howell-Baptiste (Cruella), Lucy Punch (Into the Woods), Rufus Jones (Stan & Ollie) and Trudie Styler.
“The film follows parents Nell and Simon who have invited their closest friends to join their family for Christmas dinner at their idyllic home in the English countryside,” reads the synopsis. “As the group comes together, it feels like old times – but behind all of the laughter and merriment, something is not quite right. The world outside is facing impending doom, and no amount of gifts, games or Prosecco can make mankind’s imminent destruction go away. Surviving the holidays just got a lot more complicated.”

Silent Night is written and directed by Camille Griffin. It is produced by Matthew Vaughn (Kingsman franchise), Trudie Styler (Moon), and Celine Rattray (The Kids Are Alright).
