Sony Pictures has dropped a brand new Venom: Let There Be Carnage TV spot for Andy Serkis’ upcoming Marvel sequel to the hit 2018 superhero film, starring Oscar nominee Tom Hardy. The film is currently slated to arrive in theaters on Friday, October 1.
The video, which you can check out below along with the newly released character posters, features some new footage that highlights its villains, Woody Harrelson’s Cletus Kasady/Carnage and Naomie Harris’ Shriek with Cletus taunting Eddie Brock about his Venom secret. Meanwhile, one of the said posters also teases the return of Michelle Williams’ She-Venom, whose appearance in the first film was definitely one of its highlights.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage sees the return of Tom Hardy as the lethal protector Venom, one of Marvel’s most complex characters. It is directed by Andy Serkis from a screenplay written by Kelly Marcel, based on a story by Hardy and Marcel.
The sequel will also feature the returning cast members are Michelle Williams, Reid Scott, and Peggy Lu. It will also introduce Woody Harrelson as the maniacal serial killer Cletus Kasady/Carnage, Naomie Harris as Frances Barrison/Shriek, and Stephen Graham as Detective Mulligan.

Based on the Marvel character created by Randy Schueller, Roger Stern, Tom DeFalco, Mike Zeck, and Ron Frenz, Venom: Let There Be Carnage is being produced by Hardy, Marcel, Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal, and Hutch Parker.
Since its debut in 2018, Venom was directed by Ruben Fleischer. It also starred Riz Ahmed as Carlton Drake/Riot. Despite receiving negative reviews from critics, the film had still earned a worldwide gross of over $800 million.
