ComingSoon is debuting the exclusive trailer and poster for writer/director Steven Grayhm’s upcoming paranormal thriller The Secret of Sinchanee. Vertical Entertainment will release the film on in select theaters, Digital HD and On Demand on October 8.

“An industrial tow truck driver suffering from insomnia returns to his childhood home after the untimely death of his father, to discover that a paranormal presence has been living in the house and haunting the sacred land it was built on,” reads the official synopsis.

Grayhm stars opposite Green Beret and former NFL player Nate Boyer (Mayans M.C.) and Tamara Austin (The Walking Dead), who play Boston homicide detectives lured to a small-town after the disappearance of a single mother. The movie also stars breakout Netflix child star Laila Lockhart Kraner (Gabby’s Dollhouse), Jacob Schick (American Sniper, A Star Is Born), and Rudy Reyes (Generation Kill).
“This is a deeply personal film that tackles incredibly challenging themes of xenophobia, childhood trauma, and mental health issues, testing the confines of the horror/thriller genre,” Grayhm shared of his first feature.

The Secret of Sinchanee was produced by Grayhm and Boyer under their Team House Studios banner. Joe Newcomb (Dallas Buyers Club) served as executive producer through Truth Entertainment.
