Marvel Studios has released a brand new clip for Destin Daniel Cretton’s highly-anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, featuring franchise newcomers Simu Liu and Awkwafina.
The new Shang-Chi clip, which you can check out in the player below, provides us an extended look at the film’s epic bus fight sequence that was first teased in previous trailers and teasers. It highlights the titular hero’s martial arts skills as he defends his friend from the goons who are looking to nab his green pendant.
Earlier this week, the film finally had its world premiere in Los Angeles, where it has been confirmed that Iron Man 3 star Ben Kingsley is indeed set to reprise his role as Trevor Slattery a.k.a the fake Mandarin. The film is currently slated to arrive in theaters on Friday, September 3.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings features the introduction of Canadian actor Simu Liu (Kim’s Convenience)as he takes on the mantle of the titular hero in Marvel Studios’ first Asian superhero-led movie. Shang-Chi must confront the past he thought he left behind when he is drawn into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organization.
Joining Liu are fellow MCU newcomers Awkwafina as Katy, Tony Leung as Wenwu/ The Mandarin, Meng’er Zhang as Xialing, Fala Chen as Jiang Li, Ronny Chieng, and Florian Munteanu as Razor Fist. The film will also feature MCU alums Benedict Wong (Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness) and Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Nan, which will mark her second role within the MCU following her appearance as a different character in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay he co-wrote with Dave Callaham and Andrew Lanham. It hails from producers Kevin Feige and Jonathan Schwartz, with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, and Charles Newirth serving as executive producers.
