Bleecker Street has released the official Together trailer for Stephen Daldry’s upcoming comedy-drama feature, centering around two partners who are forced to reevaluate their relationship while in a lockdown together. Starring Golden Globe nominee James McAvoy and Emmy nominee Sharon Horgan, the film is scheduled to make its debut in U.S. theaters on August 27.

Together is the story of a family, like so many, who found a way to survive – together. This hilarious and heartbreaking story intimately shows two partners forced to re-evaluate themselves and their relationship through the reality of lockdown.
The film is directed by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Stephen Daldry (Billy Elliot, The Crown) from a screenplay written by Dennis Kelly. It stars James McAvoy (His Dark Materials), Sharon Horgan (Catastrophe), and Samuel Logan.

Together is produced by Guy Heeley and Sonia Friedman. Due to its one-house setting, the project was filmed for ten days during the pandemic under COVID-19 productions. The film was first broadcast in the UK on BBC Two last June.
