The Lovebirds follows a couple (Nanjiani & Rae) who experiences a defining moment in their relationship when they are unintentionally embroiled in a murder mystery. As their journey to clear their names takes them from one extreme – and hilarious – circumstance to the next, they must figure out how they, and their relationship, can survive the night.

The movie is directed by Michael Showalter (The Big Sick) and written by Aaron Abrams (The Go-Getters) and Brendan Gall (Blindspot, The Go-Getters) from a story by Martin Gero. Tom Lassally, Oly Obst, Todd Shulman, Jordana Mollick, and Gero produce, with Nanjiani, Rae, and Showalter all serving as executive producers.
