Netflix has released the official trailer for Julio Quintana’s upcoming inspirational comedy-drama film titled Blue Miracle, starring Jimmy Gonzales and Dennis Quaid. The video features Gonzales’ Omar, who enters a big fishing competition with Quaid’s Captain Wade in order to save his all-boys orphanage from shutting down. The film will be available for streaming on May 27.

Based on the incredible true story of the real-life Mexican orphanage Casa Hogar, Blue Miracle centers around Omar and Mexican boys from the orphanage as they enter the world’s biggest fishing tournament to save their home after a devastating Hurricane hit their area. They must form a partnership with a self-proclaimed fishing champion named Captain Wade, who unwillingly enlisted Omar and the boys to help him with the Bisbee’s Black & Blue Tournament.
The film stars Jimmy Gonzales, Anthony Gonzalez, Raymond Cruz, Nathan Arenas, Miguel Angel Garcia, Isaac Arellanes, Steve Gutierrez, Dana Wheeler-Nicholson, Fernanda Urrejola, Silverio Palacios with Bruce McGill and Dennis Quaid.

Blue Miracle is directed by Julio Quintana from a script he co-wrote with Chris Dowling. It is produced by Javier Chapa, Darren Moorman, Chris George, Ben Howard, and Trey Reynolds.
