Netflix announced today that both parts of Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal The Movie will premiere on June 3, 2021. The film will be available globally outside of Japan and is the latest installment of the beloved magical girl series, which became a hit television show in the 90s after finding success in Kodansha’s manga magazine “Nakayosi.”

Both Part 1 and Part 2 of Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal The Movie will be based upon the “Dream Arc” scene in the original manga. The story revolves around the growth of the Sailor Guardians as they mature as both teenage girls and Sailor Guardians. Per Netflix, will also feature “the faint first love of Chibi-Usa and Helios.”
