Bleecker Street has released the official trailer for director Sally Porter’s upcoming drama film titled The Roads Not Taken, starring Academy Award winner Javier Bardem (Little Mermaid) and Elle Fanning (Maleficent). The film will have its world premiere at the 70th Berlin International Film Festival this coming February and it will arrive in theaters on March 13. Check out the video in the player below!

The Roads Not Taken follows a day in the life of Leo and his daughter, Molly as she grapples with the challenges of her father’s chaotic mind. As they weave their way through New York City, Leo’s journey takes on a hallucinatory quality as he floats through alternate lives he could have lived, leading Molly to wrestle with her own path as she considers her future.
The film features a star-studded cast led by Academy Award winner Javier Bardem (No Country For Old Men, Eat Pray Love) as Leo and Elle Fanning (Maleficent) as Molly. It will also feature Oscar nominees Salma Hayek (Frida, The Eternals) as Dolores and Laura Linney (Kinsey, John Adams) as Rita.

The Roads Not Taken is written and directed by Sally Potter (Orlando), who have previously worked with Fanning in the 2012 drama film Ginger & Rosa. The film is a production by BBC Films, HanWay Films, British Film Institute and Ingenious Media with Christopher Sheppard set as a producer.
