Entertainment One and Amazon Studios have released the international trailer for their upcoming adventure drama film The Aeronauts, featuring Felicity Jones’ Amelia Wren and Eddie Redmayne’s James Glaisher as they try to change the world. Check out the video in the player below!

The Aeronauts stars Eddie Redmayne (Jupiter Ascending) and Felicity Jones (Inferno), who previously worked together on the acclaimed biopic The Theory of Everything for which Jones was nominated for an Oscar and Redmayne won the Oscar, play balloon pilot Amelia Wren and scientist James Glaisher who, in 1862, embarked on an extraordinary journey to discover the secrets of the heavens. In the process, they flew higher in an open balloon than anyone had before or has since. They made breathtaking discoveries, but as they ascended to the highest points of the atmosphere, they were forced into an epic fight for survival.
The film is produced and directed by Tom Harper (War & Peace), written by Jack Thorne (National Treasure) and will also star Tom Courtenay (The Golden Compass), Anne Reid (Hot Fuzz), Rebecca Front (Doctor Thorne), Vincent Perez (Riviera), Tim McInnerny (Game of Thrones), Phoebe Fox (Eye in the Sky) and Himesh Patel (EastEnders).

The Aeronauts will start its theatrical run on December 6, before premiering on Amazon on December 20. The film had its world premiere at the 2019 Telluride Film Festival in August.
