20th Century Fox has released a new clip from their upcoming science-fiction drama Ad Astra, featuring Oscar nominee Brad Pitt’s character Roy McBride having an intimate conversation with Ruth Negga’s character Helen Lantos whilst speeding across the red landscapes of Mars. Ad Astra follows the story of Astronaut Roy McBride (Pitt) as he travels to the outer edges of the solar system to find his missing father and unravel a mystery that threatens the survival of our planet. His journey will uncover secrets that challenge the nature of human existence and our place in the cosmos.
Joining Pitt are Tommy Lee Jones (Captain America: The First Avenger) as his astronaut father, Ruth Negga (Preacher), Liv Tyler (The Leftovers) and Donald Sutherland (The Hunger Games). Pitt also produced the film alongside Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner, James Gray, Anthony Katagas, Rodrigo Teixeira, Arnon Milchan
