Vertical Entertainment has released the official trailer for their upcoming romantic comedy Can You Keep A Secret?, starring Alexandra Daddario (San Andreas, Percy Jackson) and Tyler Hoechlin (Supergirl). Based on author Sophie Kinsella’s bestselling book, the film is slated to be released in selected theaters and On-Demand on September 13. Check out the video in the player below!

Can You Keep a Secret? is a romantic comedy that follows the story of Emma Corrigan (Daddario), a girl with a few secrets. On a turbulent plane ride, thinking she’s about to die, Emma spills them all to the handsome stranger sitting next to her. At least, she thought he was a stranger. But then Jack Harper, her company’s young and elusive CEO, arrives at the office. It’s him. And he knows every single humiliating detail about Emma.
The film will also feature Emmy nominee Laverne Cox (Orange is the New Black) as Cybill, Kimiko Glenn (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse) as Gemma, Sunita Mani (GLOW) as Lissy, Judah Friedlander as Mick, and Kate Easton as Artemis.

Elise Duran (Finding Sarah, LA Shrinks) will direct from the adapted screenplay by Peter Hutchings (The Outcasts, The Last Keepers). Claude Dal Farra, Brice Dal Farra, and Brian Keady will produce for BCDF Pictures. Charles Miller will executive produce alongside Daddario. Embankment films is selling international territories.
Kinsella is best known for her Shopaholic book series and Can You Keep a Secret? has sold over four million copies. Her work was previously adapted in 2009 with Confessions of a Shopaholic, starring Krysten Ritter (Marvel’s Jessica Jones), Isla Fisher, and Hugh Dancy.
