Bleecker Street and ShivHans Pictures have released a new featurette for their upcoming drama-thriller Hotel Mumbai, which tells the true story of the 2008 siege on Mumbai’s Taj Hotel. A gripping true story of humanity and heroism, Hotel Mumbai vividly recounts the 2008 siege of the famed Taj Hotel by a group of terrorists in Mumbai, India. Among the dedicated hotel staff is the renowned chef Hemant Oberoi (Anupam Kher) and a waiter (Dev Patel) who choose to risk their lives to protect their guests. As the world watches on, a desperate couple (Armie Hammer, Nazanin Boniadi) is forced to make unthinkable sacrifices to protect their newborn child.

Hotel Mumbai stars Academy Award-nominee Dev Patel (Slumdog Millionaire), Golden Globe nominee Armie Hammer (Call Me By Your Name), Nazanin Boniadi (Homeland), Tilda Cobham-Hervey (One Eyed Girl), Anupam Kher (Silver Linings Playbook), and Golden Globe nominee Jason Isaacs (The State Within).
From Bleecker Street and ShivHans Pictures, Hotel Mumbai was directed by Anthony Maras, who co-wrote the script alongside John Collee. Basil Iwanyk, Gary Hamilton, Mike Gabrawy, Julie Ryan, Andrew Ogilvie, and Jomon Thomas serve as producers.
Hotel Mumbai will arrive in theaters on March 22.
