Fox is Rebooting Hitman with Paul Walker

Twentieth Century Fox Film is rebooting Hitman with Fast & Furious 6 star Paul Walker in a movie to be titled Agent 47. The video game adaptation, written by A Good Day to Die Hard writer Skip Woods and Michael Finch, will be directed by commercials director Aleksander Bach.

The Square Enix title (previously from Eidos Interactive) was turned into the 2007 movie Hitman starring Timothy Olyphant. The Xavier Gens-directed action thriller earned just under $100 million at worldwide theaters. Woods also wrote that film.

According to Deadline, the new film will shoot in Berlin and Singapore this June.

Agent 47 will be produced by Chuck Gordon, Alex Young, and Adrian Askarieh. Daniel Alter will be executive producer.
