Ray Liotta is the latest name to join the cast of Walt Disney Pictures’ soon-to-shoot sequel to 2011’s The Muppets. Variety has the details, although Liotta’s specific character remains a mystery.
Liotta will join Ricky Gervais, Tina Fey and Ty Burrell in the March 21, 2014 release. The Muppets‘ director James Bobin is returning for the sequel, writing alongside the also-returning Nick Stoller.
Liotta, who previously made an appearance in 1999’s Muppets From Space, appeared late last year in Killing Them Softly and recently signed on for a role in Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez’s Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.
