Academy Award winner Robin Williams is set to star in Sundance Award Winner Dito Montiels (A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints) next project, Boulevard.
Camellia Entertainment is now in pre-production on the feature, an intimate drama about marriage and lies. Williams will play Nolan Mack, a devoted husband in a marriage of convenience until a run-in with a guarded young man forces Nolan to come to terms with his own secrets. Up-and-coming actor Roberto Aguire will play Leo, the young man.
Boulevard was written by Douglas Soesbe. Camellia Entertainment’s Monica Aguirre Diez Barroso and Mia Chang produce alongside the team of Jeffrey Gelber and Evil Media Empire’s Ryan Belenzon. Barrett J. Klausman will executive produce.
Robin Williams recently wrapped Lee Daniels’ The Butler and Phil Alden Robinson’s The Angriest Man in Brooklyn.
Dito Montiel recently wrapped the upcoming Liam Hemsworth and Dwayne Johnson starrer Empire State.
Production on Boulevard is slated for May 2013 in Nashville, TN.
