Directed by Julia Hart, and written by Kristin Hahn, based on the young adult novels from Jerry Spinelli, Stargirl follows Leo Borlock who, in a world where the spaces grow bigger even as they get smaller, meets Stargirl Caraway, a bright, authentic light who breaks through the sea of teenage confusion.
Per the report, Esposito will play a character named Archie, who is described as a Paleontologist who is a friend to Stargirl and Leo. Brar will play Leo’s best friend Kevin, while Stanchfield will play Gloria, Leo’s mom; and Hernandez will play Mr. Rabineau, a teacher at the kid’s school.
