Following the successful opening of the studio’s Pitch Perfect, Universal Pictures has made to plans to develop an original idea from star Rebel Wilson. Deadline reports that Wilson, who has also made recent big screen appearances in films like Bridesmaids and What to Expect When You’re Expecting will write, produce and star in the untitled project.
Pitch Perfect opened in a limited release on September 28 and, after expanding everywhere on October 5, its box office currently stands at nearly $24 million.
