Adam Brody has joined the cast of David Talbert’s Baggage Claim, Deadline reports. Set up at Fox Searchlight, the film is already set to star Paula Patton, Derek Luke, Octavia Spencer, Taye Diggs, Djimon Hounsou, Lauren London and Jill Scott.
The film, written and directed by David E. Talbert and based on his own 2005 novel, centers on the thirty-something Montana Moore, who, frustrated with being single, embarks on a 30-day, 30,000-mile barnstorm across America to find an appropriate suitor. Along the way she encounters several interested prospects, including a preacher, a politician and a tycoon.
Brody, who recently appeared in Seeking a Friend at the End of the World, will play a flight attendant who befriends Moore.
