Jorma Taccone (“SNL,” MacGruber) has signed on to direct Spy Guys for New Line Cinema, says a story at The Hollywood Reporter.
The film is said to involve a top secret CIA operative who, in Europe with his unknowing friends for a wedding, is framed and becomes a wanted man. After he reveals himself to the group, they all band together to escape and prove his innocence.
Adam Sztykiel will write with Taccone, Akiva Schaffer, Andy Samberg and John Rickard producing.
