DreamWorks has plans to develop a big screen remake of the 1984 body-switching comedy All of Me, says a story at The Hollywood Reporter.
The original film hit theaters in 1984 and starred Steven Martin as an attorney who, thanks to the madcap plan of dying millionairess (Lily Tomlin), winds up having his body half-inhabited by her soul and the pair are forced to work together to make things right.
Abby Kohn and Marc Silvertstein (The Vow) drafted the new screenplay, which is said to reverse the genders of the main characters, having a man’s soul inhabit a woman’s body.
John Davis (Mr. Popper’s Penguins) is attached to produce.
