Michael Fassbender has officially joined the cast of Lynne Ramsey’s Jane Got a Gun, ComingSoon.net has learned.
The film, set to star Natalie Portman, features a script by Brian Duffield. Set to start shooting in early 2013, Jane Got a Gun centers on a woman who must ask an ex-lover for help in order to save her outlaw husband from a gang out to kill him.
Fassbender appeared earlier this year in Prometheus and can next be seeing in Steve McQueen’s 12 Years a Slave and Ridley Scott’s The Counselor.
