Hugh Jackman is in talks to star in the upcoming film Bad Education
Hugh Jackman (The Greatest Showman) is in talks to star in the upcoming film Bad Education, according to Variety. The film comes to us from Automatik and was written by Mike Makowsky, who wrote I Think We’re Alone Now. Bad Education will be directed by Cory Finley, who directed the much-talked about Thoroughbreds.
There are no details as of yet about the plot, but the site reports that there will be an Election feel to the film and that it is based on Makowsky’s high school experience.
Bad Education will be produced by Fred Berger (La La Land) and Brian Kavanaugh-Jones from Automatik with Eddie Vaisman, Julia Lebdev and Oren Moverman of Sight Unseen.
Hugh Jackman is known for playing Wolverine in the X-Men films, including the most recent and final one Logan. He appeared as Jean Valjean in the latest film version of Les Miserables and recently starred in The Greatest Showman. The soundtrack to The Greatest Showman has gone platinum. He’ll next be seen in The Front-Runner, about senator Gary Hart’s run for President.
