Warner Bros. has plans to develop a romantic comedy called Cupid with Russell Brand in the lead, Variety reports. The pitch arrives from Prom director Joe Nussbaum.
Set in present day, the plot sees a cynical Cupid tasked with creating the perfect romance.
Brand most recently appeared in Rock of Ages and can next be seen in both Diablo Cody’s still-untitled directorial debut and as a voice in Despicable Me 2. He also just yesterday became potentially attached to Larry Charles’ Pierre Pierre.
