Director Justin Lin and Jordana Brewster Returning for Fast & Furious Sequels

Vin Diesel has revealed, via Facebook, that director Justin Lin and actress Jordana Brewster will return for Fast & Furious 9 and Fast & Furious 10. In a live video from a secret set, Diesel hinted that Lin, who directed the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth installments, will be returning for the next two films.

Diesel also said that Jordana Brewster, who did not appear in The Fate of the Furious, will be coming back in the upcoming chapters of Fast & Furious.

“You wanted 9 and 10 to be incredible. We’ve heard your concerns about the saga and where it needs to arrive in its final chapters,” Diesel said. You can watch the video in the player below!

It was recently announced that Fast & Furious 9 was delayed from April 19, 2019 to April 10, 2020. Before that, we’ll get to see an untitled spinoff featuring Dwayne Johnson’s Hobbs and Jason Statham’s Deckard on July 26, 2019.

The Fate of the Furious, which hit theaters on April 14, 2017, reunited Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson and Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges in a heart-stopping new adventure that also features Charlize Theron, Kurt Russell and Scott Eastwood. The film earned $1.238 billion at the worldwide box office, with $225.7 million coming from North American theaters and $1.013 billion internationally.
