Scott Rosenberg has come aboard Michael Bay’s Pain and Gain, says a story at The Hollywood Reporter. He’ll touch up the screenplay to Michael Bay’s dark comedy, written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.
The Paramount Pictures project stars Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne Johnson, Anthony Mackie, Ed Harris, Bar Paly, Rob Corddry and Tony Shalhoub. Based on a true story, the film follows a group of bodybuilders who engaged in a campaign of kidnapping, extortion and murder in Florida.
Rosenberg is best known for films like Con Air, High Fidelity and Gone in 60 Seconds. Most recently, he sold his original screenplay, The Hauntrepreneur to Paramount. That film is in development with Russell Brand slated to play the lead.
