Naomi Watts and Robin Wright were spotted filming The Grandmothers in Sydney, Australia on Thursday, February 9 and we’ve got some photos below. Based on a Doris Lessing novel, the film is an erotic tale of misguided love. Xavier Samuel and James Frecheville also star.
The book, featuring four short stories, is described as follows: “Two women, close friends, fall in love with each other’s teenage sons, and these passions last for years, until the women end them, promising a respectable old age.”
The movie is directed by Anne Fontaine (Coco Avant Chanel) from a script by Christopher Hampton.
