We have a very special contest this time, but this one is somewhat regional since you have to be in the Los Angeles area. Focus Features has offered us two pairs of tickets to the Hollywood premiere of Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, based on John Le Carré’s novel and starring Gary Oldman, Ciaran Hinds, Colin Firth, Tom Hardy, Benedict Cumberbatch and Mark Strong. It’s directed by Swedish filmmaker Tomas Alfredson, best known for the vampire thriller Let the Right One In.
Two lucky winners will win a pair of tickets (that’s four tickets total) for the premiere on Tuesday, December 6 at 7pm at a theater in Hollywood. All you have to do is Email us at WARRIOR at COMINGSOON dot NET with your name and phone number and your favorite Gary Oldman role and movie and why that’s your favorite (100 words or less). Please put “TINKER TAILOR CONTEST” in the subject line and I’ll pick the two best entries and those lucky winners will be attending next week’s premiere.
Because the premiere is on Tuesday, the deadline for this contest will be Monday, December 5, at 4pm Pacific Time and then we’ll let the lucky winners know where to go on Tuesday morning.
VERY IMPORTANT: You must be in Los Angeles or the surrounding area or be able to get to the area for the premiere on December 6. Sorry but we won’t be covering any travel or lodging expenses and if you win, it’s your responsibility to get there and get home. Also, the movie is rated R so please be of appropriate age to see an R-rated movie.
