In development for quite some time, Killing on Carnival Row looks like it may finally be close to the big screen as Deadline reports that Immortals director Tarsem Singh is now attached to helm.
The film, from a spec script by Travis Beacham, is about about a Victorian city inhabited by humans, faeries, elves and vampires, and a detective pursuing a serial killer within.
Singh’s next project, Mirror Mirror, hits theaters on March 16, 2012 and re-interprets the classic tale of Snow White. He’s expected to begin production on Carnival Row in June in New Orleans.
