Like Crazy star Felicity Jones has landed the female lead in Warren Beatty’s untitled Howard Hughes film, reports Deadline. New Regency is co-financing the movie.
According to the site, “Jones will play a young woman who develops a relationship with Hughes’s young driver and confidante, before she falls in love with Hughes.”
As far as the young male lead, Deadline mentions that names like Justin Timberlake and Alden Ehrenreich are in the mix. Also possible names for roles are Annette Bening, Jack Nicholson, Alec Baldwin and Owen Wilson.
Beatty, who will direct and wrote the script, is set to play Hughes. Filming is expected to start next year.
