Variety reports that Dark Tide, Turistas and Into the Blue helmer John Stockwell will direct Code Name Geronimo for Voltage Pictures. The script was written by Kendall Lampkin.
According to the trade, the “story is based on the military incursion into Bin Laden’s compound from the perspective of a small contingent of Navy SEALS. Pic takes a look inside their lives as tensions rise between them until they learn the identity of their latest target, whose code name is Geronimo.”
The movie is expected to start shooting in January.
