It appears that Warrior director Gavin O’Connor has his next project in his sights. The Playlist reports that O’Connor (and co-writer Michael J. Wilson) have sold a screenplay to Warner Bros. entitled The Samurai with O’Connor planning to direct the project.
Plot details are few, but The Samurai is said to be a thriller that spans international locales.
Wilson is best known for for his family-friendly fare, having contributed to the Jackie Chan vehicle The Tuxedo and the animated films Shark Tale and the original Ice Age.
Outside of Warrior, O’Connor is known for films like Miracle and Pride and Glory.
