Variety reports that Sam Rockwell (Iron Man 2, Moon, upcoming Cowboys & Aliens) is in talks to star opposite Jennifer Garner in Occupant Films’ Better Living Through Chemistry.
The trade says that “Rockwell will play a meek, small-town pharmacist stuck in a loveless marriage who rediscovers himself by starting an affair with a trophy wife, to be played by Garner. After she introduces him to the pleasures of prescription drugs, things spin out of control when they begin plotting to kill her husband.”
Michelle Monaghan plays Rockwell’s wife in the film, while Judi Dench is narrating.
Geoff Moore and David Posamentier wrote the script and will make their directorial debut.
