December 6 releases include Jason Bourne, The Secret Life of Pets, and a restored Phantasm

We’ve got two exclusive clips for you this week. In the top player below, you can a behind-the-scenes look at Jason Bourne ‘s motorcycle sequence. The franchise sequel comes home December 6 both by itself and as part of the five film Bourne: The Ultimate Collection . Just beneath that, you can watch a blooper reel from OWN’s drama series Greenleaf featuring stars Keith David, Lynn Whitfield, and Merle Dandridge. All 13 first-season episodes of the show are now available in a complete season set.
Other recent big screen hits debuting on Blu-ray and DVD December 6 include Illumination and Universal Pictures’ hit family film The Secret Life of Pets , Mike Birbiglia’s clever comedy drama Don’t Think Twice , John Krasinski’s ensemble family drama The Hollars , Justin Tipping’s adventure Kicks , the WWE original actioner Eliminators . Ben Bowman’s Knucklehead , meanwhile, debuts on DVD only.
The Crackle feature film Dead Rising: Endgame (the follow-up to Watchtower ) also hits December 6, as does Warner Bros. Home Entertainment’s re-release of Mad Max: Fury Road in George Miller’s preferred “Black and Chrome ” version (the disc includes the regular version, too). Also getting a Blu-ray re-release December 6 is John McNaughton’s X-rated horror tale Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer , starring Michael Rooker. The film gets a 4K transfer in honor of its 30th Anniversary.
Flicker Alley , then, has a rare treat for cinephiles this week with the first ever home release of the 1927 drama Children of Divorce . Starring Clara Bow, the Frank Lloyd feature also marks one of the very first credited appearances of a young Gary Cooper.
The Criterion Collection this week debuts both multimedia artist Laurie Anderson’s meditation on life, love and human existence Heart of a Dog and upgrades to Blu-ray Luis Buñuel’s 1962 surrealist comedy drama The Exterminating Angel .
Don Coscarelli’s 1979 Phantasm gets a new special edition blu-ray while the recent franchise sequel Phantasm: Ravager also comes home.
Scream Factory is releasing the recent voodoo slasher The Devil’s Dolls , while the Shout! Select line adds two Bruce Lee martial arts classics: The Chinese Connection and Fists of Fury .
Small screen releases coming home December 6 include the first seasons of MTV’s The Shannara Chronicles , VH1’s Scream Queens and Disney XD’s LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures . There’s also the second season of CBS’ Zoo , the fourth and final season of The CW’s Beauty and the Beast , and the complete series of CBS’ political satire BrainDead . Rounding off this week’s TV titles is the fourteenth season of FOX’s Family Guy and a volume one collection of Disney Channel’s Elena of Avalor .
Debuting on Digital HD December 6 are three recent big screen releases. Look for Antoine Fuqua’s ensemble western remake The Magnificent Seven , Clint Eastwood’s dramatic biopic Sully , and Nicholas Stoller ‘s animated family adventure Storks .
