Pierce Brosnan goes for the throat in high tech psycho thriller I.T.
Since graduating the world of James Bond, Irish-born actor Piece Brosnan (who first fell on the mass-pop culture radar with his role on ’80s TV series Remington Steele) has not been lack for work and now seems intent on following in the footsteps of his fellow mature, macho thesp brethren Liam Neeson and Nicolas Cage, positioning himself as a direct-to-video action star. And there’s certainly nothing wrong with that. The man adds class to whatever picture he appears in, so the more Brosnan the better…
Now, Brosnan is starring in the high -ech psycho thriller I.T. The film (which received limited theatrical and VOD release back in September) is written by Dan Kay (Pay the Ghost) and William Wisher, Jr. (Terminator 2: Judgment Day) and directed by John Moore (Max Payne) and stars Brosnan, Anna Friel (Pushing Daisies), Stephanie Scott (Insidious: Chapter 3), James Frecheville (The Stanford Prison Experiment, Animal Kingdom), and Austin Swift (Live by Night). RLJ Entertainment is set to release I.T. on Nov. 22, 2016 on Blu-ray for an SRP of $29.97 and on DVD for an SRP of $29.96.
In I.T., Mike Regan (Pierce Brosnan) is a successful, self-made man who has it all: a gorgeous wife, a beautiful teenage daughter and a sleek, state-of-the-art “smart home.” But he soon finds himself in a deadly, high-stakes game of cat-and-mouse when his deranged I.T. consultant (James Frecheville) starts using his skills to stalk Mike’s daughter and endanger his family, his business, and his life. In a world where there is no privacy, and personal secrets can go viral by the click of a mouse, Mike needs to rely on his old connections to defeat a new kind of nemesis.
We have an exclusive clip from I.T. to share below. Have a look and watch our man Brosnan being very manly and angry…
