Melanie Griffith has joined the cast of The Grief Tourist, a serial killer-themed drama currently in production with a planned 2011 release.
Griffith joins the already-announced Michael Cudlitz and Bryan Cranston in the story of an unstable man fascinated by serial killers. His obsession soon leads to him following their actions and walking in their footsteps.
Griffith, who won an Golden Globe for her role in 1988’s Working Girl, has most recently appeared as a recurring character on “Nip/Tuck.”
