Josh Holloway is the latest name to be added to the ever-growing cast that is the fourth Mission: Impossible film, says The Hollywood Reporter.
Holloway, best known for his six-season portayal of Sawyer on “Lost,” will play a secret agent member of Ethan Hunt’s (Tom Cruise) task force.
The current line up for the Brad Bird film includes Cruise, Ving Rhames (returning as Luther Stickell), Simon Pegg (returning as Benji Dunn) and newcomers to the franchise Jeremy Renner, Paula Patton, Vladimir Mashkov and Michael Nyqvist.
Mission: Impossible is in production now with plans to shoot in Dubai, among other international locales. It is currently planned for release on December 16, 2011.
