Warner Bros. has purchased a spec script for Expulsion, a sci-fi actioner from Gregg Hurwitz, reports Deadline.
The storyline involves a terrorist attack that wipes out the entire planet. A group of survivors heads out into space to find a new world to settle on.
Hurwitz is best known as a writer and producer on the current television series remake “V” and for his novels, one of which, They’re Watching, is planned for a separate feature adaptation.
