It’s been some time since we’ve seen anything new from The Weinstein Co.‘s adaptation of Macbeth, but that changes today as Empire has featured three new pictures from the film ahead of its debut at the Cannes Film Festival next month. The stills, which you can check out below, are nothing spectacular, but they are something at least.
The pictures feature the most recent look at Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard in a new take on William Shakespeare‘s classic, about a ruthlessly ambitious Scottish lord who seizes the throne with the help of his scheming wife and three witches. Justin Kurzel (Snowtown) directs and Paddy Considine, David Thewlis, Sean Harris, Jack Reynor and Elizabeth Debicki help round out the cast.
