Adding to its already-impressive rotation of comedies, HBO has just released the first teaser for its upcoming series “The Brink“, a dark comedy that centers on three disparate, desperate men who must work through the chaos surrounding them in order to save the planet from falling into World War III.
The show, which debuts Sunday, June 21, stars Jack Black as lowly Foreign Service officer Alex Talbot, Tim Robbins as Secretary of State Walter Larson, and Pablo Schreiber as ace Navy fighter pilot Zeke Tilson, an unlikely team of men who band together to solve a geopolitical crisis in Pakistan.
Aasif Mandvi, Maribeth Monroe, Eric Ladin, Esai Morales, and Geoff Pierson help round out the cast of “The Brink”, which is executive produced by Jerry Weintraub, Roberto Benabib, and Jay Roach and was created by Roberto Benabib and Kim Benabib. Check out the teaser below.
